Tampere Cricket Club

Established in 2000, we enjoy playing, discussing, learning about, & teaching cricket. As a part of the Finnish Cricket Association, we play in the national leagues (& also friendly matches). Our goal is to promote fitness & coordination, and develop cricket in Tampere and further afield in Finland. We’re happy to introduce any newcomers to the game, and arrange introductory coaching & training sessions also in schools. Boys and girls are also especially welcome to our “KidsCricket” clinics! (PRH #179.994)

We play out outdoor cricket matches at the Pirkkahalli ground (Ilmailunkatu 11; Tampere Cricket Field) – all national league matches and also social matches. And we mostly use the training nets in Hervanta (corner of Ahvenisraitti & Urheilijanpolku; Hervanta cricket practice nets) for practice sessions. During the winter, we train and play indoor cricket at a variety of venues.
